Social Responsibility

MY PERSPECTIVE:

To me social responsability is to take everything we're learned in this class and actually apply it in our lives and out in the world to make a difference. For example, we talked about the Syrian Refuge Crisis and how this tragic global issue is so hard to resolve. I used to be on a Portland State Lacrosse Team, and as a team we organized many social events for charity. Quite frequently, for this issue specifically, we have Paint Nights to support the refugees. It is a public event that anyone can join. 

No action or person is too small. Anyone can make a difference. But it is important to remember that everything starts with a choice. And all choices have concequences.
